These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RemoveNews.ai (the "Service"), a free AI-powered article-removal request tool operated by Reputation Resolutions ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
RemoveNews.ai helps you draft a professional removal-request letter to send to a news publication, and surfaces a likely editorial contact at that publication. The Service is provided at no cost. Optional paid services may be offered by our parent company, Reputation Resolutions; those are governed by a separate agreement.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that:
The removal-request letters drafted by the Service are generated by AI based on your inputs. While we have designed the Service to produce professional and accurate output, AI can occasionally make errors or fabricate details. You are responsible for reviewing every letter before sending it and for the accuracy of any information you submit to the publisher.
Similarly, editor contacts are sourced from third-party databases and may be outdated. We recommend verifying contact information independently before sending sensitive correspondence.
RemoveNews.ai is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The Service produces draft correspondence to news editors. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified attorney, particularly in situations involving defamation, court orders, contractual obligations, or other legal questions. If your situation involves potential litigation, we strongly recommend consulting an attorney.
The Service is free. If you elect to engage our parent company Reputation Resolutions for hands-on removal services, those services are billed on a pay-for-results basis and are governed by a separate written agreement. No charges arise from use of RemoveNews.ai itself.
The Service — including its design, code, content, branding, and AI-generated outputs delivered to you — is owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and the removal-request letter generated for you, for the purpose of sending that letter to the relevant publication. You may not republish or commercialize the Service or our materials without written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (article URLs, descriptions of your situation, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it solely to deliver the Service to you.
The Service relies on third-party providers (including HubSpot, Anthropic, Hunter.io, Vercel, Cloudflare, and Google Workspace) — see our Privacy Policy for details. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of those providers. The Service may also link to publisher websites; we are not responsible for any content or policies on those sites.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we, our affiliates, and our service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose — which, for the free Service, is zero dollars (USD $0).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your submission of false or misleading information, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are abusing the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in State of Colorado, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in any class or representative action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the Service after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
